Does £150 include removing the DPF?
No. It covers cleaning a suitable passenger-car filter supplied already removed. Vehicle diagnosis, removal and refitting can be quoted separately by KP Car Care.
Can every blocked filter be cleaned?
No. We assess suitability first. A cracked, melted or otherwise damaged internal structure cannot be repaired by cleaning. If a filter is unsuitable, we discuss the next steps and any agreed assessment charges before proceeding.
How long does the service take?
Timing depends on filter condition, drying and workload. We confirm a completion estimate before accepting the job. Please contact us before travelling or sending your filter.
Will cleaning fix the cause of the blockage?
Cleaning treats the filter. A vehicle fault may still need diagnosis and repair to prevent repeated blockage. Ask us about diagnosis if you are unsure why your DPF became blocked.
Do you accept filters from other garages?
Yes, trade enquiries are welcome. Tell us your business name, expected volume and filter types. We will confirm pricing and any collection or return arrangements.
